AYEO will be starting a Winter Warmth Fundraiser very soon to help provide warmth to the poor, helpless people living on the streets of Afghanistan during the ice cold winters.

I truly feel like I am living a dream and I don't want to be waken up. This dream began in 2007 and finally I see it becoming a reality. AYEO, started off between three sisters, expanded to friends, and their friends of friends. After all the hard work, dedication, determination all of the AYEO members have put into this organization, it is finally paying off. It is the beginning of day 9 of the "Emergency Fundraiser: Iftaar Food in Kabul" and we have started off the day with a total of $10,085 in donations! I am truly amazed on how successful this fundraiser has become. The first day, a goal of $100 was set, but just within the first 24 hours we raised over $1000! This shows to everyone, that nothing in life is impossible! By coming together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need. We can give them hope for a future of health, security, education, and most importantly, their happiness.  My heart is full of tears for the people in Afghanistan that don't have any homes or access to any source of food supply. I break down every time I watch videos posted by our Director Mahmood Ahmadi of the distribution of the donations. Iftaar and sahri meals  become more difficult to eat. Allah (swt) has blessed my family and me with food on the table at every meal (subhanAllah), but there are people all around the world that don't know when their next meal will come. Please, for the people of my country, I am begging everyone who reads this blog to support AYEO and this fundraiser! Any contribution can go a long way. Even dedicating your time to tell all your family and friends about this cause can help a great amount. Donate money to feed a family of five for up to two weeks! After watching the videos I literally had tears running down my cheeks. Tears of happiness, that donating as little as a $1 is bringing these people so much happiness. Donating as a little as $17 you are giving a family food to eat for 2 weeks. At the same time I have tears of anguish knowing that we still need more! After every donation drop there are still people who are hungry and there are still people who didn't get food.

Less than 3 days ago we began this Emergency fundraiser and amazingly, we have surpassed our $1000 a day goal! With the support of all of you who donated we are at $5000 in less than 3 days! I can't even begin to explain the feeling inside of me right now. I want to call this a miracle, but i think it's more than a miracle, its a movement, it's man kind coming together as a whole to promote a cause that is saving lives on a daily basis during this Holy Month of Ramadan. Although, $5000 is a tremendous amount I know we can raise so much more! Every day our Director distributes food, he is forced to leave so many still hungry because it's not enough, we need YOUR HELP! Please continue spreading the word and please continue to donate! Let us unite in a spectacular cause; a cause that has no race, a cause that has no religion, but rather has the same goal as everyone else-  to Alleviate the pain and suffering of the impoverished people of the war-torn country of Afghanistan. It's 3:20 a.m. here in Nevada and I can't help but be overwhelmed with excitement and too anxious to go to sleep! Today is officially the third day of the "Emergency Fundraiser for Iftaar Food in Kabul." We have exceeded all goals and expectations! Masha'Allah with the help of everyone who has donated, we have reached our goal of $3000 and EXCEEDED IT! We have raised a total of $3130 thus far! SubhanAllah! The blessings of Allah has allowed all of us to contribute to this amazing cause. Thank you to all the people who have donated money, spread the word, and support this organization. Insha'Allah let's continue this momentum and reach to the top! Keep up all the great work everyone. Let's raise $1000 a day to hand out Iftaar food in Kabul, Afghanistan for all the poor men, women, and children. Remember, $1 can feed up to 5 people! JazakhAllah Khair. 

Just got word from our treasurer that we have exceeeded $3000 in a matter of 2.5 days!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!! haha this is AMAZING!!!!!!!! keep it coming ladies and gentlemen, I know we can do $1000 a day at the very least!!!! spread the word!!! Welcome to our new website.  Currently we are in the first week of our EMERGENCY fundraiser. We have made a goal of $1000 and we are only $80 short!!! WOW!!! That is amazing, but i know we can make it to our goal today. We will be sending the first set of donations out by the 18th to feed as many people as we can out there. Our directer Mahmoud is out there in Afghanistan for the entire month so you can be assured that 100% of all donations are going directly to the poor and homeless.
